Choose A Difficulty got it’s start in early October 2009 when a few friends sat down and decided they would enjoy writing about gaming. After seeing how easy it was to get into a legitimate website, we felt that we wanted to offer something special in comparison to what is already out there. Right away we knew we wanted to write about the stuff we love and do so in a professional and unbiased manner, resisting the bias trend of a lot of journalism that fuels the infinite fan boy flame wars while also adding our own sense of humor. We decided early on that this humor would be a centerpiece to our site culture and writing. We feel that gaming is much more than a fight of who has better “this” or “that” and that gaming has a community of common interests. We felt that being engaged with this community is something we also strive to achieve, having great conversations with the readers than spend their time here. So if you comment, we comment back and forgo the efforts of creating a rich base of readers to talk amongst.  In doing so our goal is to provide you with the most recent up to date news, most informative reviews/previews, and unique and original articles that you won’t find anywhere else but here on Choose A Difficulty.
