EA Officially Announces Dead Space 2

Well it’s official, EA has released it’s press release announcing the sequel to the popular 2008 survival horror title Dead Space. Above is the newest cover of Game Informer that will be hitting news stands soon, on its front cover the first Dead Space 2 shot (besides the ink blot, we covered last weekend) showcasing Isaac’s new armor, which is badass. No release date has been given at this time but the press release did shed some light on the next chapter of Isaac’s journey to rid the universe of the Necromorph’s. This is great news to anyone who has played the first game and enjoyed, personally my favorite horror title of the current gen. As you no doubt have guessed I am extremely happy to hear that a sequel is on its way and simply cannot wait to see what changes and story elements the second rendition will entail. Possibly in Dead Space 2, or Dead Space 3. There is a chance that the Necromorphs will reach earth. Upon so There may be newer things such as Vehicles.

As reports are coming in, it seems that Dead Space 2 will take place on a Space Station this time around. This space station is supposed to make the Ishimura look small in comparison.
