Xbox 360 Bans Hit One Million

Been on Craigslist lately? No doubt you have seen the massive posts of modded Xbox 360’s for sale? Well it seems that Microsoft has pulled out the mother of all ban hammers and have suspended indefinitely over one million Xbox live accounts. The basis of the bans looks to be related to piracy mainly, although reports have come in that they have cracked down on other violations as well. If you have a modded box, I suggest not logging on to play the newly released Modern Warfare 2, I know it will be hard but Microsoft apparently has no pity for you.

“If it’s clear someone is downloading pirated copies or have modified their Xbox in some way that will allow them to download games that they haven’t purchased legitimately and yes we lock that account down and we’re unapologetic about that,” said Microsoft.
